GUIDED VISIT TO THE STONES OF ICA

Description:

At the designated time our clients will be picked up from their hotel in Ica by our local guide and then will be transferred to the center of Ica where it is situated the Museum of Dr. Cabrera with his large collection of engraved stones. During our visit we will be able to see representations of animals that were extinguished over 6 millions of years ago. The stones clearly depict images of dinosaurs as triceratops, stegosaurus, apatosaurus and human figures riding on the backs of flying pterodactyls. On other rocks you we will also see scenes of men hunting and killing dinosaurs.
Others show men watching the heavens through what look like telescopes and performing open-heart surgery and cesarean section births. On other stoned of a bigger size visitors will be able to see maps of our planet depicting ancient continents with different forms and distribution. The rocks also show human figures of different races and animals extinguished. In general visitors will see engraved stones representing various themes in which stand out astronomy, medicine, botanic and zoology. According to Dr. Cabrera the stones of Ica represent a sort of library of a remote human society that would have left testimony of their presence on our planet and high degree of their achievements. At the end, clients will be dropped off at their hotel in Ica.

• On this tour you must bring light clothing, as the weather in Ica used to be very hot, especially in summer time (from December to March) when temperatures can reach 40º C / 104 ºF sometimes.
