FULL DAY TOUR TO THE NAZCA LINES DEPARTING FROM LIMA BY BUS.

Description:

03:15 h. You will be picked up from your hotel in Lima and then will be transferred to the bus station of Cruz del Sur located at the district of Miraflores. The bus journey to the city of Nazca lasts about 7 hours. (The bus will make stops at the Paracas bus station and the City of Ica, before reaching the town of Nazca.). Upon your arrival in Nazca you will be met at the bus station by our local guide and then will be transferred to the Nazca airport from where you will take a small plane to fly over the Nazca Lines. Prior the flight you will watch a video film about the Nazca Lines that will allow you get a better understanding of the archaeological zone you are about to see. This interesting documentary lasts about 40 minutes and involves serious information about the Nazca Culture, as well as the figures you will see from the air. For this aerial tour, you will board a small Cessna single-engine aircraft (Station air, Sky hawk or Skyline type), which has spacious room for 5 people, each person with a window seat. After the video, our English speaking pilot will proceed to give you a briefing about this air tour and also will give each participant a map of the archaeological zone, which shows all the figures you will see from the air. Among the figures, you will see an impressive representation of a monkey, a whale, a spider, a hummingbird, a parrot, a condor, geometrical shapes and hundreds of straight lines crisscrossing the Nazca desert. After the flight, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus back to Lima. (For lunch you may go to any of the local restaurants located near the bus station). The bus leaves at 16:00 h and arrives in Lima at around 23:00 hrs. Upon your arrival in Lima you will be picked up from the bus station and then will be transferred to your hotel. Recommendations:

• On this tour you must bring light clothing, as the weather on the southern coast used to be very hot, especially in summer time (from December to March) when temperatures can reach 40º C / 104 ºF sometimes.
• For the Nazca Lines flight we suggest to wear light clothing as it is a bit hot inside the plane.
• We suggest to bring sun block to avoid sun burning, a hat, a bottle of water and sun glasses.
