Enjoy a private trip by air leaving from Lima's airport aboard a Piper Cheyenne III to the city of Nazca. This short flight will allow you to observe the beauty of the Peruvian coast while travelling to one of the most mysterious deserts on Earth. In Nazca we offer you either a small airplane especially designed to fly over the Nazca Lines or a helicopter. This aerial tour will take you over a zone where hundreds of years ago ancient cultures etched onto the desert surface series of lines and geometric shapes. At the Nazca desert you will also see spectacular representations of animals, including birds, insects, marine species and human figures.

Tour description:

07:30 h. You will be picked up from your hotel in Lima and then will be transferred to the airport in Lima to take a private airplane to the city of Nazca. The flight to Nazca takes about 1 hour and offers great panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the coastal line. Once we had landed in Nazca you will be led to our video room where you will watch an interesting documentary about the Nazca Lines. This interesting documentary lasts about 40 minutes and involves serious information about the Nazca Culture, as well as the figures you will see from the air. For this aerial tour, you might take a helicopter or a small Cessna single-engine aircraft depending on your preferences, both machines offer a window seat for each client. After the video, our pilot will proceed to give you a briefing about this air tour and also will give each participant a map of the archaeological zone, which shows all the figures you will see from the air. Among the figures, you will see an impressive representation of a monkey, a whale, a spider, a hummingbird, a parrot, a condor, geometrical shapes and hundred of straight lines crisscrossing the Nazca desert. The flight over the Nazca Lines last 35 minutes. After the flight, our guide representative will meet you at the airport and then we will do a city tour in Nazca. On our city tour we will visit the ancient channels of Cantayo located near the town and also will visit a ceremic studio where craftmen reproduce Nazca ceramics. Later on you will be transferred to the Nazca airport, and then will take your private plane to the city of Lima. Upon your arrival in Lima you will be met by a representative from Mystery Peru and then you will be transferred to your hotel in Lima.

• On this tour you must bring light clothing, as the weather on the southern coast used to be very hot, especially in summer time (from December to March) when temperatures can reach 40º C / 104 ºF sometimes.
