The Sillustani towers are perhaps the finest and the most perfect cylindrical constructions of ancient Peru, as such perfection can be found no where else in South America. TOUR TO THE Sillustani Burial Tower

Description:

Our tour to Sillustani starts at 2:00 PM. Our clients are collected from their hotels and then are conducted to the western part of Puno. The bus ride to Sillustani lasts about 30 minutes and offers along the way fine w¡ews of the Lake Titicaca. At the archaeological site of Sillustani, our local guide with show us the most important sectors of the burial site and will give us a good insight into the Andean culture. Afterwards we will visit local farmes that live along the road, in order to learn about the economical activity in the area, there you will learn how they plant their potatoes, breed ther alpacas and vicuñas and also how the weave those beautiful colorful ponchos. Finally we will return to Puno, getting there by sunset.

End of the tour.
